Rut Blees Luxemburg talk, Turner Contemporary Margate

In relation to the Hamish Fulton exhibition WALK at Turner Contemporary, London based artist Rut Blees Luxemburg discusses the importance of walking to her photographic work. From the iconic ‘London - A Modern Project’ series to the recent ‘Black Sunrise’ set in New York, she considers ideas that accentuate and amplify the importance of the ground and the horizontal, light and illumination, and attempts to outline a geopoetical vision.

The event is from 6 - 10pm on Friday 30th March throughout the whole gallery and is free. Rut’s talk will begin at 7pm. For more information visit Turner Contemporary.
